Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim

We are honored to have Geshe Lobsang Tsultrim visit our center to offer teachings and blessings. Geshe Tsultrim is a member of the Gaden Shartse Monastery in South India.  He has received the Geshe degree that is earned after several years of intensive study and passing the highest-level exams.  It is the monastic equivalent of a western “Ph.D.” degree.  Having successfully passed these exams, He is also a skilled artist, specializing in traditional Tibetan art.

Geshe Tsultrim has lived in the USA on and off since 2001 and has a keen understanding of Western culture. His experience and training allow him to transmit the precious teachings of Tibetan Buddhism in a way that is very accessible to westerners.

Thursday, August 18th at 7 pm: Exploring the monastic life of Tibetan Buddhists. Bring the family and learn more about this rich ancient tradition. Geshe Tsultrim will share images and stories of life in a Tibetan monastery. Bring your questions! This is offered online as well as in person. Friday, August 19th at 7 pm: Public talk, The Way of Compassion. Geshe Tsultrim will share the Tibetan Buddhist use of great compassion as means to remove suffering and cultivate harmony and inner peace. This is offered online as well as in person. Saturday, August 20th at 7 pm: Vajravidaran Healing Ritual. Vajravidaran is a Buddha associated with purification and health. Physical and mental health is impacted by our karmic imprints. This ritual offers an opportunity to improve your health by purifying negative karma. The Vajravidaran ritual of purification and has three stages: the removal of negativities, the cleansing of subtle negative imprints, and protection from their return. This program is only in person.
