Spring Fundraiser for the Dharma Center
We have t-shirts and zip-up hoodies in to begin our spring fundraiser for the Dharma Center. As you are all aware, we are a traditional Buddhist center that never charges for teachings. We exist solely as a result of freely offered donations. The causes for the Buddha Dharma to remain and be available are the efforts and support of students, teachers, and benefactors. Our spiritual director, John Bruna, offers all of his teachings and administrative duties for free. He does not receive a salary. We operate on a tight budget with only one part-time employee, Rachel Currier. So in addition to our regular monthly donors, we need to have events and fundraisers to have a Dharma Center and continue to provide all of the teachings and resources through all of our programs.
In this fundraiser, we are offering a free t-shirt for every donation of $25 or more or a free zip-up hoodie for every donation of $45 or more. Here are the details about the t-shirts and hoodies:
Women’s T-shirts – Next Level Apparel, made from 100% combed and ringspun cotton, this t-shirt features a longer length that sits below the waist. The fabric of this tee has been laundered to minimize shrinkage, while the 1×1 baby rib knit collar and side seam construction offers a flattering, comfortable fit.
Men’s T-shirts – Gildan Softsyle, weighing only 4.5 oz per square yard, this extremely light t-shirt feels great. Gildan delivers a well-designed, semi-fitted t-shirt in either 100% cotton or cotton blends (varies based on color). The inside label easily tears away leaving a comfortable tagless t-shirt.
Hoodies (only available in men’s sizes) – Gildan zip-up hoodies are made with a 50/50 blend of cotton and polyester. They have the best of both worlds. The cotton helps keep them super soft, while the polyester gives these Gildan hoodies a natural drying ability. This dual-action versatility makes these zip-up hoodies great for all kinds of activities.
