Stages of the Path to Enlightenment Teachings on the Lamrim
Wednesdays 6:00 – 7:30 pm Mountain Time
The Lamrim (Stages of the Path) tradition presents a systematic, step-by-step cultivation of the Buddhist path to enlightenment. It leads students through the teachings and practices of the complete path to enlightenment through the lens of three different spiritual motivations, people motivated for a better rebirth, then those who aspire for individual liberation, and culminates in the presentation of the path for those practicing to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all living beings.
The teachings will be facilitated by our spiritual director, John (Chophel) Bruna, and based upon The Great Treatise on the Stages of the Path to Enlightenment (Lamrim Chenmo), by Lama Tsongkhapa, and John will draw from commentaries, by Venerable Thubten Chodron, His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche, and Venerable Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen.
Time: Wednesdays from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm Mountain Time.
Dana: Teachings are always offered on a free-will donation basis. If you would like to offer dana (a donation for the teachings), please use the button below.
The first hour (6:00 pm to 7:00 pm) begins with a short meditation followed by the teaching.
