The Five Powers, A Synthesis of Buddhist Practice

John Bruna teaching at the Durango Dharma Center

Join us tonight for this timely teaching with John Bruna. The Five Powers are a synthesis of practices found in the transformative instructions of the Lojong (mind training) of Tibetan Buddhism. The Five Powers are Resolve, Familiarization, The White Seed, Abandonment, and Prayer.

Time: Wednesdays at 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm Mountain Time

Location: Third Street Center, 520 S. 3rd Street, Suite 36, Carbondale, Colorado.

Gunnison Group: A group meets at the Here & Now Center, 115 S. Colorado ST. They have cushions, blankets, and chairs. All are welcome. Questions – contact Dusty (970) 641-3898.

Potluck Night: We have a monthly potluck meal every second Wednesday of the month. We invite you to bring a vegetarian dish to share and enjoy friendship around food. It is so important to have spiritual friends on the path, and this potluck allows us to connect more with each other and support one another on the path to full awakening.
