The Bodhisattva Vows in Modern Life: Practical Application of Timeless Wisdom
The Bodhisattva path calls us to awaken our innate wisdom and compassion for the benefit of all beings. Yet in the complexity of modern life—filled with distractions, division, and constant demands—how do we live this timeless vow in a genuine, grounded, and practical way?
In this workshop, John will explore commentary on the Root Bodhisattva Vows, drawing on the living Tibetan tradition and his own decades of study, teaching, and service. With warmth, clarity, and humor, John explores how these vows can guide us to cultivate authentic compassion, integrity, and interconnection in daily life.
Whether you are new to Mahāyāna teachings or a seasoned practitioner, this workshop invites you to deepen your understanding of what it means to live as a Bodhisattva today—awakening courage, compassion, and purpose in every moment.
