We are excited to announce that John will offer a 4-week immersive workshop exploring the profound and transformative Tibetan Buddhist sadhana of Four-Armed Chenrezig—the embodiment of enlightened compassion. Rooted in centuries of wisdom and practiced across all Tibetan Buddhist traditions, this sadhana offers a complete spiritual path that nurtures the heart, clarifies the mind, and deepens one’s connection to all beings.
John received instruction on this practice through an unbroken lineage from his teacher, the late Geshe Tsultim Gyeltsen, a revered Tibetan master and founder of Thubten Dhargye Ling Center in Long Beach, California. Grounded in authentic transmission, John shares these teachings in a way that is accessible, practical, and deeply rooted in the lived experience of the path.
The sessions will unpack the essential elements of this rich and integrated practice, including:
Refuge and Bodhicitta: Establishing a heartfelt foundation of purpose and commitment to awakening for the benefit of all beings.
The Four Immeasurables: Cultivating boundless equanimity, love, compassion, and joy.
The Seven-Limb Practice: A method for purification, accumulation of merit, and deepening devotion.
Purification and Visualization: Engaging in healing practices that release karmic obstacles and generate blessings through the visualization of Chenrezig and mantra recitation.
The Eight Verses of Mind Training: A timeless lojong text guiding us to transform adversity into the path of awakening.
This workshop is suitable for both new and experienced practitioners. Participants will receive guidance in how to develop a daily practice, apply these teachings in everyday life, and embody the compassionate qualities of Chenrezig more fully. The workshop will include explanation, guided practice, and time for reflection and discussion.

Dates: July 27th through August 17th
Sundays from 8 am to 9 am Mountain Standard Time (online sessions using Zoom).
Cost: By donation. All of our teachings are offered on a donation basis. Your donations are tax-deductible and go to supporting the center and our mission to provide precious resources and teachings to all.
