John Bruna teaching at the Durango Dharma Center

Join us either in-person or online for this special half-day retreat with John Bruna focusing on developing the practice of purifying and transforming unhealthy habits and actions. The Four Opponent Powers of Purification is a foundational practice within Tibetan Buddhism to purify negative karmic imprints and help one cultivate more wholesome and beneficial actions of body, speech, and mind. One does not need to be a Buddhist to apply these powerful remedies to unhealthy mental, emotional, and physical habits and actions. They are universal to all.

Though the four opponent powers are applied within different Tibetan Buddhist practices, they are core to the purification practice of Vajrasattva. In this retreat, we will learn the key elements of the four opponent powers, including how to use them within the practice of Vajrasattva or on their own in a more universal approach applicable to those of all spiritual traditions.
